hey fellow band mates, it's my first post to write as a major. it's pretty stress to see under the names of the blog and there it says 'blog maintained by carol'. i'll be giving out the user and password to the sec 3s soon and those who are good at doing some blog stuff will be made as the blog moderators. it's ok if u don't know about blog, 'cos I myself don't know much too. i need a helper!

congratulations to all other sec 3s and i hope together we can bring the band to a greater height. the band cannot do with just the 4 majors, or just with the commitee members. we need cooperation from ALL BAND MEMBERS. it doesn't mean that if you are a sec 1, you cannot contribute to the band. contribute by being cooperative and supportive. support one another, that's the most important thing. the sec 4s have stepped down, i know it's really sad to see them leave. it'll be even sadder to see the band die. what's more, if Mr Yeo gets his scholarship, another conductor will be taking us.

we must always be prepared for things like that. we cannot be selfish and beg Mr Yeo to stay if he gets the scholarship. we must be brave and strong. ok i may seem to exaggerate but it's true! don't care abt what Li Ao says that we Singapore are stupid and can only survive in a team or group. just like doing a projectwork, you team is sure to lose if they do not cooperate and your team does not have teamwork. what's more, the band has 76 members! this means we have to be more united!

always think of the band as a whole, not just your group or just yourself.

and to the sec 2s and 1s, please show respect to your seniors and don't take advantages of them ya? haha. know when to play and when not to. alright?

i hope we can have the cooperation from all you guys, and let's polish our discipline. seriously speaking, discipline is the root of everything in a band. especially to a military band. things like punctuality, attire and attitude are such examples of discipline. our discipline is not that good, but we CAN make our discipline good - by being cooperative and supportive.

by the way, please fall in by 7.30 and try not to be late! =D
